The AAF-Greater Evansville awards scholarships to deserving high school and/or college students yearly in April. Over the past 40 years, AAF-Greater Evansville has distributed over $158,000 in scholarship awards. To be eligible, students must plan to pursue a career in advertising, marketing, public relations or graphic design. The application deadline varies yearly, but is typically in early April. Interested applicants can contact their high school or college advisor for more details.


2017 Scholarship Award – EXTENDED!

In April of 2017, a minimum of $2,000 in scholarship funds will be awarded to area students.

Scholarship Requirements

  • Entrant must be graduating from a high school or currently attending college in one of these counties:

INDIANA:  Vanderburgh, Warrick, Posey, Gibson, Pike
ILLINOIS:  Edwards, White, Wabash, Wayne
KENTUCKY:  Henderson, Union, Daviess

  • Entrant must be majoring in Advertising, Marketing, Graphic Design or Public Relations
  • Entrant must have a minimum GPA of 3.00

Applications must be accompanied by a typed one-page essay telling about yourself and why your skills and/or career goals in Advertising, Marketing, Graphic Design or Public Relations qualify you for the Scholarship. Applications are available through your high school counselor, college financial office.

Notification

The winners will be notified by April 3rd. The winner and their family will be invited to the Annual AAF-GE Scholarship Awards Luncheon, held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 20 at Central Library, 200 SE Martin Luther King Jr Blvd., Evansville, IN.
