Jim Mattingly

Congratulations to Jim Mattingly, the winner of the 2018 Silver Medal Award.

Mattingly began his career in media 40 years ago as a radio disc jockey at Purdue University. He started his career in the Evansville area as on-air talent at KC103 and worked at various local stations on-air before transitioning into a successful stint in broadcast radio sales for WKDQ and WABX in 1988.

In 2005, Mattingly started REACH USA of Evansville, a direct mail company, that featured REACH Magazine and was a Managing Partner of the publication until 2015. In 2010, Mattingly also began his own media service agency which has been in successful operation since inception.

Mattingly, and his wife Sharon, own Spoiled Rotten Pet Grooming and is he is also active as a Certified Dale Carnegie Instructor. He currently sits on the secretariat for the Evansville Cursillo movement, and the board of directors for Water for People, and the Rodney Lincoln Foundation. He is an active member of St. Boniface Parish.

Mattingly’s connection to the American Advertising Federation is a long history of service to this organization. He served on the board of directors from 2007-2017 and was president of the organization in 2008.
